Welcome to the Sno-Cap Teletray Project. In our attempt to restore the original teletray system we're calling on the public out of need and for an opportunity. This opportunity is to help the Sno-Cap remain a local legend and give the next generation the full experience of the original Sno-Cap with our drive in Teletray system. As you all know, the system needs work so we are reaching out to the community for individuals or businesses to step up and take on a small project to contribute. Below are a list of the projects and with your help you'll get plague in your or your companies name that will remain at the Sno-Cap as reminder of how you helped us out.
Project #1 - Curved Acrylic Signs (Welcome to Sno-Cap)
This project will take some specialized equipment. "snocap" needs to be screen printed or hand painted on the translucent lexan, and the lexan will need to be bent. We are not even sure who would be able to do this, so that is the job of the person that wants to take on this task.. to find a vendor that can do it, and pay for said work to be done! This is a major task, and the executor will be highly regarded! We need 34 of these because there are 2 per station.

Project #2 - Speakers (2 Per Station)
The speaker is the main communication item at the teletray station. Not only does it act as a speaker to talk to the car, it acts as a microphone, for the car to talk to the server! It is just a standard 4 inch square 8 Ohm speaker. The one we need is part Number SR00188 at mcminone.com (1.99 ea). We are going to need two per teletray station, which means we are going to need 34 speakers!

Project #3 - Single on/off Toggle Switch (2 Per Station)
The toggle switch is to turn the tray pickup light on and off. It not only lights a lamp on the side of the teletray, it notifies the server inside the building. This is a SPST (single pole single throw) switch. We need 34 of these also!

Project #4 - Momentary Push Button Switch (2 Per Station)
The Push Button I how you call the server. It is located in the center of the speacker housing. We need 34 push button switches!

Project #5 - Fixture to hold a 20 watt F20T12 Florescent Lamp
This light lights up the Teletray station at night! It's a very important component of the teletray. It is a basic 24 inch florescent lamp found at lowes. We need 18 of these, one goes in each station.

Project #7 - Orange Service Lamp (1 Per Station)

Project #8 - Molex Connector 12 Conductor (1 Per Station)
This is the main connector between the teletray station and the master control unit inside the building. Cant get much more important than that! This will be a 12 conductor molex connector. While the new one will resemble th old one, the old one is no longer available from what we have found. We need at least 18 male, and 18 female connectors. they are part number 21-3055 at mcminone.com (4.50 each) If you are able to get an exact match with the old connector (called AMPLOK), You will get a special recognition by me!

Project #9 - Plexiglas (2 Per Station)

Project #11 - Repair the Master Control Power Supply.
This is a standard Transformer based power supply. the transformer is OK, and I think the Rectifiers and Filters are OK ,but the regulator needs to be replaced. This might take some doing to find a replacement component. (we don't want to modify the chassis with a new power supply if we can help it.. we want to get the old circuit working properly.)

Project #14 - Building a test fixture to test/troubleshoot the master control fixture.
This is essentially as simple as building a outside teletray unit "in a box" that we can use inside the building when we need to troubleshoot the Master control unit inside. That way we don't have to constantly run outside to test the unit inside!
